This Saturday is a big game for the University st Albany Great Danes Football team. Not only is it the first game of CAA conference play against William and Mary but it's also the annual "Pink Game" supporting the American Cancer Society. Levack and Goz will be hosting a special pregame tailgate party before the 3:30 pm kick off.

The UAlbany athletic department planned this game in support of its athletic director, Mark Benson, who has committed to taking a stand against breast cancer throughout the American Cancer Society’s 2019 Real Men Wear Pink Campaign.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign," Benson said. “We enjoy a great relationship with the American Cancer Society through the annual Coaches v Cancer event. Unfortunately, cancer touches everyone. I’m pleased to be joined by other UAlbany Head Coaches in our support for the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign and forming the UAlbany Athletics Real Men Wear Pink team.”
