The Yankees Are Going To Wear Black Uniforms

There are few uniforms in all of sports as iconic as the New York Yankees' Pinstripes and road grays. So brace yourself... the Yankees will be wearing black uniforms for MLB's Player's weekend.

The New York Post is reporting that due to the rules behind the Player's Weekend the home team gets to choose between White or Black uniforms. Now obviously the Dodgers home whites are on that iconic list so they chose white. Leaving the Yankees to wear black. Considering that many Yankees' fans were not happy about the Player's Weekend jerseys with names on the back this should lead to seriously outraged fans.

Here's the good news, the Yankees will wear the Pinstripes this weekend in London, England. So even though I'm not a huge fan of the Yankees playing two games against the Red Sox "across the pond" at least they'll be properly represented.
