Today's episode of Chad Johnson Theater finishes what has been a rough, yet completely deserved, few days for the artist formerly known as Ochocinco. Today, wife of forty days (and one alleged incident of domestic abuse) Evelyn Lozada has filed for divorce from Johnson.

That got me thinking, what are some other things in sports and beyond that have lasted as long, or longer, than Chad's marriage to the basketball wife? Here are just a few.

The college careers of the 2011-2012 Kentucky Wildcats freshman class

A trio that left Kentucky after one national championship season, the college basketball careers of Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Marquis Teague were part of last year's team that went 38-2, for a total of forty games, a total equaling the number of days LOchocinco were married.

Noah's Ark Ride

Biblical figure Noah spent forty days and forty nights in his ark with two of each animal, waiting out one heck of a storm. One major difference between the tale of Noah and the tale of Chad is that Noah was able to weather the storm after forty days. Ocho can't say the same of himself.

Game days missed by 2011-2012 NBA Lockout

The 2011-2012 NBA season was slated to start on November 1 but, thanks to a prolonged lockout, games did not start until Christmas Day, a total of 55 days worth of games missed. That is two weeks longer than Chad and Evelyn were married, or a third of their total time married.

Kim Kardashian's Marriage to Kris Humphries

The previous belt holder for a pathetically short marriage featuring an athlete, Kim and Kris' marriage lasted a total of 72 days. That comes a week short of doubling the length of Ocho's marriage, dwarfing Lozada and Johnson's union. A new gold standard has been set in the world of short athlete marriages. Congratulations, Chad. I hope it was worth it.
