Not sure whether some organizations think they are being funny, under the pretense of being cute of course, but another non NFL team has offered Tim Tebow work. This time according to the Philadelphia Enquirer, it is the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.

However this one has a little twist to it. The Soul are co-owned by ESPN football commentator Ron Jaworski, aka Jaws. Jaworski is a big deal in Philadelphia based on his playing days with the Eagles.

Jaworski is quoted as saying:

if Tebow wants to play in the AFL that Jaws would love to have him.

The report also claims that Soul head coach Clint Dolezel and Jaws have drawn up a list of plays and sent it to Tebow in an attempt to sway him.

Jaworski told the paper quote

" One criticism of Tebow is that he is slow and methodical. he would be forced to quicken it up in this league and it would be good training for him. You can learn a lot in this league. It's about processing information and getting the ball out or you get whacked."

Tebow must really be wondering about his football future at this point. If Jacksonville doesn't want him options seem limited. Combine that with the recent retirement of David Garrard and Tebow must feel that hsi options are limited. Perhaps going to the AFL and sharpening his skills might be the best way to get another NFL shot.

Jaworski is not one to mock as many ESPN talking heads are want to do. Already ESPN who in my view has an anti-Tebow bias has had Warren Moon on to  talk about the CFL isn't a good option for Tebow. Another words ESPN it seems to me is looking to chop his legs out from Tebow. No word if Jaworski will be reprimanded like Chris Broussard was for not parroting the ESPN talking points and bucking the "majority. "
