For 30 teams, the off-season is here and that includes the San Francisco 49ers and the Cincinnati Bengals, who were both eliminated in the conference championship games.

That list also includes the Buffalo Bills, who have some very tough decisions to make with pending free agents and additions they have to make through free agency and the 2023 NFL Draft, in order to improve on this year's divisional round loss to the Bengals.

Safety Jordan Poyer, linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and running back Devin Singletary are the most obvious pending free agents that fans want to focus on, but there are other pending free agents for the Bills that may not be back in 2023.

That list includes offensive lineman David Quessenberry, wide receiver Jamison Crowder, special teamer Tyler Matakevich, defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and linebacker Tyrel Dodson.

Dodson might not be back, judging by his tweet from this past weekend, which sounds like a goodbye to the City of Buffalo.

Dodson was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and has been a valuable special teams player and fill-in linebacker. Dodson's strength and size were questioned coming out of college, but has proven himself as a good backup linebacker in his time in Buffalo.

Many of the pending Bills free agents won't be back in Buffalo, just based off salary cap restrictions that general manager Brandon Beane is working with.

Bills fans still want upgrades at wide receiver and offensive line, which seem likely to happen this off-season in some form. We have to wait to see what happens with that in March and April.
