After months of speculation of what fighters could be on the card at the first ever legal mixed martial arts event in New York state, the UFC this week released the information involving seven fights on the historic card taking place November 12th. An official press conference will be held Tuesday September 27th at Madison Square Garden to make these fights official. Of of the seven fights released, two of them include New York native fighters. Long Island native and former middleweight champion Chris Weidman challenges Yoel Romero. Niagara Falls native Rashad Evans will go up against Tim Kennedy. The rest of the card is as follows

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley vs Stephen Thompson

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone vs Kelvin Gastelum

Frankie Edgar vs Jeremy Stephens

Rafael Natal vs Tim Boetsch

Katlyn Chookagain vs Liz Carmouche.

Before any fight card the UFC stresses to fans and media members that- "Card is subject to change". It's very possible that more fights could be added to this fight card leading up to November 12th.

Chris Weidman is a former interview guests on 1045 The Team. Weidman joined 1045 The Team back in December and discussed what it would mean to him to fight at Madison Square Garden.
