You know you've made it big when a major television network has music queued up to accompany your end-zone celebration.

This 14-yard touchdown reception by New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was accompanied by salsa music on NBC.  My first thought after seeing this live during the Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 win over the Giants on Monday Night Football was, "That's cheesy."  The more I saw this play and the more I thought about it, the more my opinion has changed.

I think this whole scene is really cool.  It's great to see Victor Cruz, a once undrafted free agent out of Massachusetts, go from the chopping-block outhouse to the penthouse.  The guy was once in jeopardy of getting released by the Giants.  Now, there are NBC executives saying, "Alright, if Cruz scores a touchdown, you play this music right away.  Ya got it?"  That's awesome.  Hey, and if NBC wants to have a little fun and draw a some more attention to its telecast, great.  I'm cool with that too.
