What Are The Odds Giants' QB Could Be Rookie Of The Year?

The reactions to the New York Giants' first selection in the 2019 NFL Draft have been anything but great. So here's the question: where do oddsmakers rank Daniel Jones on their Rookie Of The Year odds? Is it worth suspending your disbelief in where he was picked and possibly placing a wager on Jones grabbing the top spot for Rookies this year?

The opening odds have Jones at 18/1, which puts him 10th among this year's draft class. Fellow QB's Kyler Murray 5/2 and Dwayne Haskins 7/1 are one and two and Drew Lock is also ranked higher with 12/1 odds. A major obstacle for Jones' ROY campaign is Eli Manning. Will Jones even see the field? Jones' starts total is set at 4.5. So he'd need that to be way over to even have a shot at the award.
