The NFC East is wide open this season so far and many teams have been underwhelming.  The Eagles have a lot of problems including their head coach Nick Sirianni who has a very polarizing personality.  The Cowboys are coming off of a brutal 47-9 loss and are in their own turmoil per usual.  And then there are the New York Giants.  The defense played outstanding vs the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday but the offense was putrid.  You can't score seven points and expect to win a football game in the National Football League.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Six games into the season and the NFC-East are there for the taking but unfortunately the Giants left a big opportunity slip away. Both Washington and Dallas lost on Sunday, but the Giants could only score one touchdown against the Bengals and lost 17-7. The Giants offense has only scored one touch downs in three home games this season which is totally in acceptable. Maybe wide receiver Malik Nebers returns from a concussion this Sunday and the Giants could upset the Philadelphia Eagles who can't put it all together even with the most talented roster. Giants defense keeps them in games, but the offense can't seem to answer especially when it's a Prime-Time game.

I still like the Eagles to end up winning the division over Washington as they have too much talent on their roster not to win the NFC East.  The Giants will miss the playoffs and hover around seven wins or so and have another disappointing finish.
