This UAlbany men's basketball team has been impressive so far as they have now won three consecutive games and look much improved as opposed to last year.  They just beat a good and competitive Boston University on Wednesday night in front of a sold out home crowd at the brand new Broadview Center.  The fans got to witness a good product on the floor and ti should continue over the next few games which are winnable on paper.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in the Times Union:

After watching the UAlbany men's basketball play 6 times this season its clear they are much improved because of the additions of Amar'e Marshall and Sebastian Thomas two guards who came from the transfer portal. Marshall played at Hofstra and Thomas at Rhode Island and both stood out in the Great Danes 35-point win over Siena. Thomas and Marshall can score at a high level and when coupled with Jonathan Beagle and when Justin Neely returns UAlbany should be competitive in the America East conference with a very good chance of making a move up the standings. UAlbany needed to add a few difference makers this season and it appears they have done that with Marshall and Thomas.

Next up for the Great Danes is Dartmouth on Saturday at 8 p.m. in what should be another win and should be another packed crowd.  Coach Killings arguably has his best team in season three and this is a big year for him.  This nonconference stretch is big as it will propel the Danes into another competitive conference play season in the America East.
