What To Make Of UAlbany Men’s Basketball’s Start To 2023 So Far?
The UAlbany Men's Basketball team is off to a 1-1 overall start this season with a 92-71 loss at UMass and a 78-75 win at Columbia this past Saturday. This is a team that features nine new players several of them from the transfer portal. New point guard Sebastian Thomas from the University of Rhode Island has been very good in his first two games scoring at least 19 points in both. Newcomers Amar'e Marshall and Tyler Bertram have been solid and returners Jonathan Beagle and Marcus Jackson have given quality minutes through the first two games. Head coach Dwayne Killings is now in year three and he is very excited about this team and group in particular.

MJ and I were joined by Coach Killings ahead of Wednesday night's game earlier this afternoon right here on Big Board Sports. DK knows that the matchup at Seton Hall will be difficult but knows his group is prepared for the game. Below is our full interview with him.
