To say that the Shen graduate Ian Anderson was making the Capital Region proud would be a huge understatement. Anderson has now pitched in three postseason games for the Atlanta Braves and has yet to give up a single run to the Cincinnati Reds, Miami Marlins, or Los Angeles Dodgers. Where does ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney rank Ian Anderson's performance so far compared to other pitchers he's covered?

Ian Anderson made his big league debut on Wednesday, August 26th against the New York Yankees. Anderson ruined my birthday by pitching six stellar innings against the Yankees and if not for a homer to the league Homerun champ this year, Luke Voit he would of held the Yankees scoreless and hitless. Since then all the rookie has done is put up a sub-two ERA in the regular season and pure 15.2 innings of scoreless baseball so far this postseason.

Buster was almost speechless as he recounted just how good Ian Anderson has been so far. Listen to Buster's answer about Anderson and where he sees the Yankees and Mets going next season.
