I have no doubt that Daniel Jones will be the starting quarterback for the New York Giants come September 2024 for the opener.  I am still a Daniel Jones believer as most people around me I know are not.  He has never had a good offensive line and has had little to no offensive weapons surrounding him throughout his career.  He deserves another shot to prove the haters wrong and to make the Giants not regret paying him the big contract that they did.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Daniel Jones is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Giants next season and if he’s full recovered from a torn ACL that’s the right move because he’s earned the right to get his job back. But that doesn’t mean the Giants can’t draft a quarterback with the 6th overall pick in round one. In fact, in a quarterback driven draft this season the Giants would be smart to draft a quarterback who could be ready to step in if Jones isn’t ready or Jones does not have a good season and the Giants look to make a change. The Giants might have to considering trading up to land the quarterback they want.

I hope Daniel Jones is really progressing along is his recovery so far.  He deserves another opportunity to have a good season with the Giants and as long as Brian Daboll is the head coach and can further develop him.
