Will Matt Harvey Need Tommy John Surgery
New York Mets general manager Sandy Alderson already said Tommy John Surgery is possible, but not definite with Matt Harvey, the ace of the team, who yesterday was diagnosed with a partially torn UCL ligament in his elbow.
The Mets will schedule Harvey for another MRI in two weeks once his swelling comes down a little and come to a determination as to what the correct measure will be. Those who receive Tommy John Surgery are out for a full year or longer.
