Will The New York Giants Win On Sunday At The Cleveland Browns?
The New York Giants are not a good football team and that is no secret. They are heavy underdogs on Sunday at the Cleveland Browns. Daniel Jones will need another good game but to me the most important thing is to see the defense play better. They have a new defensive coordinator and their secondary is young and inexperienced. They have not been able to get stops. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
If the Giants don't win this Sunday at Cleveland, the questions regarding head coach Brian Daboll and his job security will only increase. Co-owner John Mara said in the preseason he wanted to see marked improvement this season but an 0-3 start with the Dallas coming to MetLife Stadium for a Thursday night game would be a major cause for concern. It's still very early but the Giants defense and especially their secondary is already a major concern. Quarterback Daniel Jones will need to have a big game because the Browns defense is one of the best in the NFL. Stanger things have happened the Giants appear headed down a path that will eventually lead to another coaching change.
If the Giants don't win on Sunday, than they may not win a game until early November when they play the Washington Commanders. Brian Daboll will continue to be on the hot seat if they lose games and keep playing poorly. The Giant fans deserve better because this looks like it is going to be another long season.
