Star wide receiver Davante Adams wants to be traded from the Las Vegas Raiders.  It comes as no surprise that the New York Jets have emerged as the front runners to land him.  Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams had some great seasons together with the Green Bay Packers and are still very close personal friends.  The New Orleans Saints are also other suiters because Adams played college football at Fresno State with Derek Carr the current Saints quarterback.  Even the Buffalo Bills are interested too.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

When the Las Vegas Raiders trade wide receiver Davonte Adams it should be to the New York Jets that makes the most sense. The Jets have the cap space and Adams has a great relationship with quarterback Aaron Rodger's. Adams has also mentioned the Saints as a team he would be willing to play for because he also has a relationship with New Orleans quarterback Derrick Carr. Adding Adams one of the best wide receivers in the NFL to the Jets would mean the Jets have no excuses for not scoring touchdowns like we watched them do against the Denver Broncos.

The Jets offense could use the help and I ultimately think that is where Adams ends up.  The Jets would be stupid to pass up on this opportunity as it would put them right near the top of the league with best offenses.  I think the trade will go down by the latest the middle of next week.
