Yankees Don’t Like Asking Price For Pitcher Matt Garza
The New York Yankees have yet to make a big move this offseason and were looking at Cubs pitcher Matt Garza, but apparently the asking price is a bit to high.
According to ESPN New York's Wallace Matthews the Yankees are, or were, a pretty big player in the Matt Garza talks, but things might not end up happening. The asking price for Garza might be a bit to steep for the Yankees.
The Cubs would like a couple pitching prospects in exchange for Garza and the Yankees aren't willing to give them up. So for now it looks like they are at a stalemate. We'll have to keep an eye on the Yankee camp to see how this plays out.
