Coming into tonight's game the Yankees will face the Boston Red Sox 10 times in 24 days. Considering the Yankees were already trailing the Red Sox by 4.5 games these ten games seem ultra important.

Tonight's game came down to Aaron Hicks stepping up big now that he's back in the line up. Hicks hit a two run home run to FINALLY get the Yankees offense going in the bottom of the 8th and followed that up with a great defensive play. Hicks threw a one hop lazer beam to Todd Frazier to get a much needed out in the bottom of the 9th.

The Yankees are now 3.5 games back in the AL East with 9 games against Boston in the next 23 days. I hate to disagree with Buster Olney but this division isn't over yet.
