Breaking: Carmelo Anthony Will Be Ruled Out For The Season

Marc Stein of ESPN is reporting that Carmelo Anthony will be ruled out for the entire season. Anthony will hold a press conference later in the day on Wednesday to formally make the announcement. 

The Knicks superstar first talked about shutting it down in December, as his knee has been bothering him all year.

Anthony needs surgery and will likely get the operation done sooner, rather than later, and then go through rehab to be ready for the Knicks in the fall of 2015.
