The New York Knicks have been working out many players before next Thursday's upcoming draft. Emmanuel Mudiay, Jahlil Oakafor, and Willie Cauley-Stein all have worked out for the Knicks.

Reports are surfacing that Ohio State point guard D'Angelo Russell came in for a private workout, somehow without anyone knowing. For weeks now many believed Russell wouldn't be around at the Knicks No.4 pick. In ESPN’s Chad Ford's latest mock draft he has the Philadelphia 76ers selecting European big man Kristaps Porzingis with the third pick and the Knicks taking Russell with the fourth pick.

Phil Jackson was fined during the NBA regular season for commenting on Russell's game “He’s a great-looking kid. Great prospect.”.

If the stars align and the Knicks are able to get Russell at the fourth pick, it would be the best thing in the Big Apple since the Eli Manning trade. Russell is the perfect guard combo that is an instant game changer. He's 6'5 with a 6 foot 10 inch wingspan, that can be a lockdown defender after adding on 15 pounds.
