Jimmer Fredette scored 12 points on Sunday in his first game back with the Westchester Knicks.

The Glens Falls native returned to Westchester after the expiration of his 10-day contract with the New York Knicks. He played just five minutes in five games with the Knicks, scoring seven points.

His Westchester club lost in his return to Maine, 126-88.

For Jimmer, he played 32 minutes, but did not start. He was 5-12 from the field and 2-3 from three-point range.

WATCH his highlights here:

Fredette averaged more than 20 points per game in his first stint in Westchester this season. He also made the D-League all-star game and won MVP after scoring a record 35 points. He also finished second in the D-League three-point contest

Will he get another shot in the NBA this season? It's beginning to seem unlikely, but several teams could use guardplay. Why Jimmer continues to not get honest evaluations in the league is puzzling to me.
