The New York Knicks beat the Atlanta Hawks 107-101, improving to 17-19, matching their win total from all of last season. It was also their third win in four games, and they swept the home-and-home with the Hawks.“It’s a good win for our group more so than a particular number,” Derek Fisher said. “The players themselves are starting to feel like something is building.”

"It's hard to beat a team twice in a row," Anthony said. "We just had a different focus coming into tonight." The Knicks didn't make it easy, as they almost saw a 16 point lead slip away in the fourth quarter until, Jose Calderon scored on a drive with 18 seconds remaining.

Carmelo Anthony's biggest attribution came up big when rookie Kristaps Porzingis picked up his first technical foul of the season after Kent Bazemore, got into his face. Anthony finished with 23 points, and 11 rebounds. Porzingis had 17 points and 11 rebounds, and was full of praise for Melo."He was doing everything for us, as a leader should do," Porzingis said.

The Knicks will take on the Miami Heat tonight at the American Airlines Arena, at 7:00.
