The New York Knicks 2014- 2015 schedule was released last night, and they are bound for a shaky season.

The Knicks opening week could be debated as one of the hardest in the league. They open the season at home against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, Oct. 29. This is a Bulls team that will have an extra incentive to win this game after being spurned by the Knicks all-star Carmelo Anthony during free-agency.

The following night they will travel to Cleveland for the Cavaliers opening night starring LeBron James, Kevin Love (possibly), and Kyrie Irving. You can expect LeBron to put on a performance like Jordan walking out in the No.45 jersey.

After these two games the Knick will host back to back playoff teams. First they will host the Charlotte Bobcats who are looking to make their stance on the East this season with the acquisition of Lance Stephenson. The following night they will host the strong Washington Wizards backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal.

No one knows how the Knicks will look this season. What we do know is they have an all-star player (Carmelo Anthony, a rookie coach(Derek Fisher), and a lot of unknown pieces that could blossom or rot.

The plus side is the Knicks have 16 games on national television, including nine on ESPN, one on ABC and six on TNT.
