Former Notre Dame head coach and NFL assistant Charlie Weis has been hired as the University of Kansas’ new head football coach, KU officials announced late Thursday. In addition to his five-year stint with the Fighting Irish, Weis is best known for his work in the NFL, where he won four Super Bowl rings as an assistant coach, including three as the Patriots’ offensive coordinator.

Oh the sky is falling. A crime has been committed. Blow the whole thing up. The BCS is awful! These are some of things the detractors of College Football's system will declare-and yet none of them will be true. In fact I will argue unlike any other sport the BCS which was set up to give football fans a true #1 vs #2 for a championship worked perfectly and gave us a regular season filled with drama

Now here is good news which today in sports is hard to find. Columbia University has changed it's mind and will allow the band to  perform this Saturday.
