For over 20 years Monday Night Football and Hank Williams Jr. have been paired together.  After Williams controversial statement about President Obama on TV news show FOX and Friends Monday morning, ESPN made the decision to pull Williams and the famous opening theme.

Michael Vick got knocked out of Sunday's 29-16 loss against the Giants with a bruised right hand.  He chose to complain about a lack of late hit calls following a game that he didn't even finish because his non-throwing hand was bruised.  WEAK!

The Oakland Raiders started the 2011 football season right where they left off last season, beating their division opponents.  It was a close game, but the Raiders walk away with the victory.

Tom Brady passed for a franchise-record 517 yards against the Miami Dolphins in a 38-24 win on Monday Night Football.  The Patriots also gained a franchise-record 622 yards against Miami.  The Dolphins didn't exactly bring their A-game.

You gotta love Ron Jaworski.  The ESPN NFL analyst isn't afraid to tell it like it is.  Unfortunately, he doesn't always use language that's suitable for young children. Jaws broke out the s-word on national TV during the Dolphins/Patriots Monday Night game.

Irina Shayk, the new Sports Illustrated cover girl, got me thinking about my youth & sports.

Yeah, I said it. After my flight from Chicago to Albany was canceled on Sunday, I did what any rational thinking man would do. I watched Monday Night Football with some friends at Hooters.
