The 2014 MLB season is over, and Alex Rodriguez's one-year suspension officially ended.  Alex Rodriguez is now officially on the Yankees 40-man roster, and is eligible to be a part of all team activities.

Rodriguez missed the entire 2014 season after being suspended following MLB's investigation into the Biogenesis case. Rodriguez has three years and $61 million remaining on his contract.

The Yankees have said all along that they plan to have Rodriguez on the diamond in this coming season. There have been talks about whether the 39-year old will play 3rd base or be a backup first baseman, and assigned designated hitter.
