Every single Giants fan was overreacting to Daniel Jones poor start in Saturday's preseason game.  While he did throw an awful inexcusable pick six, the other one was just a good play by the Texans defensive back.  He made some quality throws once he settled down.  The offensive line looks much better and did not allow that many pressures which is a significant improvement and a nice change.  Malik Nabers continues to look like a total stud and finally Daniel Jones appears to have a true wide receiver number one.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones was better than most think after watching his preseason debut against the Houston Texans on Saturday. It was shaky to start with the pick six, but he settled down an engineered some nice drives and threw a perfect deep ball to Darius Slayton. If Jones gets the kind of protection he did against the Texans he's doing to have a big season throwing the ball to several quality wide receivers. The offensive line was impressive, and Devin Singletary had some hole to run through. Giants have some stuff to clean up but there were some very encouraging signs including Daniel Jones.

The Giants will be better than last year but not by much I don't personally think.  I really hope Daniel Jones can have a good season this year because otherwise his time with Big Blue will be done.  I still am probably one of the last Daniel Jones supporters out there but the time is now this season for him to finally prove it.
