AFC Championship winners, the New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said Thursday he was "shocked" when he heard about the allegations of deflategate.

Belichick, who will be coaching in his sixth Super Bowl with the Patriots next Sunday, held a press conference devoted to nothing about the game, and all about these recent allegations. "In my entire coaching career, I have never talked to any player or staff member about football air pressure," he said.

If they are found guilty of these chargers, under NFL rules no alteration of the footballs is allowed once they are approved. If a person is found breaking league rules and tampering with the footballs, they  could face up to a $25,000 fine and possibly a suspension.
