It looks like Yankees Outfielder Brett Gardner will not be returning to action anytime soon as he has suffered a setback in his recovery from an elbow injury.

Gardner was thought to be on his way to a return to the Yankees Tonight (5/10) against the Rays.  Unfortunately, during a minor league rehab game on Wednesday night Gardner had swelling in the muscular part of his right elbow. This is a different injury than what he went on the DL for.

Before going on the DL on April 17th, Gardner was batting .321 with 3 RBI's and a .424 On Base Percentage.  Although he only has 2 stolen bases this year so far, he stole over 40 the past 2 seasons. Gardner's quickness and glove are sorely missing in the outfield as well.
