The New York Yankees are having quite the start to the season so far.  They are firing on all cylinders with almost every player contributing at a high level.  The starting pitching has been the story.  Even without Gerrit Cole, each guy has been so good and consistent.  Carlos Rodon's turn around has been very impressive and he has won back a lot of respect from the Yankee fans.  The offense has been equally impressive led by both Juan Soto and Aaron Judge.  The Yankees have not one but two perennial American League MVP candidates.  Judge literally flipped the switch once the month of May began.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
Aaron Judge is on pace to hit 59 home runs and he's playing better than he was 2 years ago. Judge after a slow start is putting on a show right now and coupled the Juan Soto the New York Yankees lineup is a nightmare for any team, they play. And it's not just Judge and Soto because Anthony Volpe is having a monster season and Alex Verdugo has been a tremendous addition and a player who reminds me a lot of Brett Gardner. The Yankees can stay healthy they should be a very tough out when the playoffs roll around.
