New York Knicks small forward Carmelo Anthony was booed loudly by the Denver Nuggets home crowd on Wednesday night.

Carmelo Anthony didn’t exactly feel the love from the Denver home crowd on Wednesday night.  The Nuggets beat the Knicks 117-94.  Anthony was booed during the pregame introduction and throughout the first quarter every time he touched the ball.

Carmelo only scored nine points on 3-of-12 shooting.  Anthony left the game early due to his injured right knee.  Melo flew back to New York to have his knee examined and drained.  The Knicks are reeling as they’ve only managed a 6-8 record in the last 14 games.  Amar’e Stoudemire might be out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
