CC Sabathia Officially Says Farewell

In a season that hasn't gone as scripted there's many moments I will remember fondly and not so fondly. On one hand I'm thrilled I got to share CC Sabathia final start with my daughter at Yankee Stadium while on the other hand it hard to say goodbye to the big fella. CC went to Twitter to say goodbye one last time to playing baseball.

I think former Yankees' manager Joe Girardi sums up what most of us are feeling perfectly.

On a side note if the Mets do not hire this man I truly have no idea what they're looking for, and neither do they. To see how much he cares about his players is inspiring.
