Jamion Christian IS Leaving Siena Already (UPDATE)

UPDATE: The homepage of George Washington Athletics has confirmed that Jamion Christian.

There are reports that first year Siena Saints Men's Basketball Coach Jamion Christian could be it talks to take the Head Coaching job at George Washington University. CBS' Bob Parrish has Tweeted out that Christian is in "Advanced Talks" with the University.

George Washington University fired Head Coach Maurice Joseph on March 15th after a disappointing 9-24 season. If these reports are true Christian would be leaving the Saints after one season in which the Saints were picked to finish last in the MAAC but ended up tied for the second best record in the conference and a tournament win over Rider. The future looked bright for Siena with Jamion Christian at the helm. No telling where the Seina basketball program will turn next if Christian in fact takes the GW job.
