Cremo Named ‘Rookie of the Week’

After scoring 25 points in a Danes' win against Niagara on Wednesday, Cremo was named the America East Conference Rookie of the Week.

In addition to scoring, Cremo was incredibly efficient with his game: Going 9-12 from the floor and 3-3 from three-point range.

He looked great shouldering the scoring load in that game as no other Dane scored in double-figures. Cremo is already showing he is one of the most valuable players on the UAlbany roster.

If the Danes are going to win a fourth consecutive America East title, Cremo will need to continue to grow comfortable in his role as a scorer. The Danes haven't gotten the kind of production they expected this season from Peter Hooley and Cremo has been there to help pick up the slack.

UAlbany is 9-4 this season and will return home again on Jan. 6th.
