Are you one of these people who "hates steroid cheats" yet cheered for David Ortiz when he reached a milestone?  Pick a lane, please.

It bothers me when fans are inconsistent.  I actually prefer a consistently bad stance rather than flip-flopping and being inconsistent with your opinions.  Take for instance the usage performance-enhancing drugs in sports and Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz.  On one hand, fans will talk about how much they hate steroids and performance-enhancing drugs.  They'll talk about how these steroid cheats should not be in the Hall of Fame (which I agree with).  However, these are the same people who will turn around and applaud Big Papi for hitting the 400th home run of his career.  It's garbage.

Don't be inconsistent.  Have an opinion and stick to your guns.  If you supposedly detest steroid use, then don't celebrate a guy who just hit his 400th career home run when he once failed a drug test in 2003.  Big Papi shouldn't be treated completely differently just because he's a likable guy.  He cheated.  If you don't like cheaters, then don't celebrate David Ortiz's fake accomplishment.
