If I were the coach of the Giants I would start quarterback Eli Manning on Sunday in Washington. Manning never misses a start (198 straight) but after the first or second quarter I would treat it like a preseason game. The game itself is meaningless, and after watching quarterbacks Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota break their fibula bones on Saturday, I would seriously think twice about playing Manning for more than one half. The health of Manning is very important, but that said, if the Giants are going to make a deep run in the playoffs, it will be because of its defense not offense.
