Renaldo Balkman channeled his inner Latrell Sprewell when he decided to choke his teammate while playing in the Phillippine Basketball Association.

To say that Renaldo Balkman’s basketball career isn’t going swimmingly would be an understatement.  Balkman was a first round pick of the New York Knicks in 2006.  It was pretty much all downhill from there.  Balkman played sparingly with the Knicks and Denver Nuggets before fizzling out of the NBA.

Balkman now plays in the PBA (the Phillippine Basketball Association).  He recently got physical with an official for not making a call as he saw fit.  Then, when teammates tried to restrain him, he put his hands around the throat of one of his teammates.  Nice guy.  When your career is on thin ice in the PBA, you might want to think about retiring for good.
