Fausto Carmona Falls and Tumbles [VIDEO]

This wasn't the most graceful moment of Fausto Carmona's career.  The Indians pitcher didn't do anything to strengthen the argument that pitchers should also be hitters.  This video is a must see.

Fausto Carmona is a pretty good athlete.  However, he doesn't have a lot of experience when it comes to running the bases.  This is a violent trip and fall.  The kind of trip and fall that will not escape your memory, or his teammates', for quite some time.

The designated hitter rule has been debated for a long time.  The National League doesn't have designated hitters while the American League does.  There have been countless arguments about which league has a better system.  Consider this though.  When an American League pitcher, who only hits a handful of times each season,  is facing a National League team and is forced to hit, it's a recipe for disaster.  There is no argument about that.
