Geoff Schwartz’s First Impressions of Ereck Flowers [AUDIO]
Expectations are high for Giants first round draft pick Ereck Flowers. Right guard Geoff Schwartz will most likely be playing next to him this upcoming season, what has he seen thus far?
"Ereck Flowers is a big dude, he is strong," said Schwartz, to Armen and Levack, on 104.5 The Team. "We lifted together [this week]. He is a strong guy that I look forward to seeing.
"He is a quiet guy. I get it, I remember being a rookie, it is tough. I was a 7th round pick but he was the 9th pick overall. It is nice to have those guys in and start working with them and try to get them acclimated to the group. I’m looking forward to seeing them in camp with the pads on."
Flowers told Armen and Levack last week that he would welcome Schwartz's leadership and guidance and the NFL veteran has noted before that he prides himself in that role as well.
