Looks like the Giants fan base is going to get their wish as reports indicate that 62-year old offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride will announce his retirement, as early as Thursday.

After owner John Mara spoke to the media on Monday, it was clear that any job besides Tom Coughlin could be in jeopardy. Mara went as far as to calling the offense "broken".

The immediate name that could take Gilbride's spot is Mike Sullivan, who used to be on the New York staff as the wide receivers and quarterbacks coach. Most recently, Sullivan was the offensive coordinator in Tampa Bay, where Greg Sciano and staff were let go earlier this week.

Note: Keep an eye on what happens with Giants wide receivers coach Kevin M. Gilbride, the son of OC Kevin Gilbride. John Mara questioned the decision of wideout Jerrell Jernigan not getting significant playing time till the end of the year. Those kind of decisions could fall on Kevin M. Gilbride's lap.
