This season I’ll be providing my own personal Top 25 poll each week during the college basketball season. My poll philosophy is ranking the teams I believe are the best twenty five best in the country following that given week’s games. These rankings tip off this week and will run until January, when then we shift our projections to "mock brackets". The complete poll is listed below. Swing and Miss on Butler- Last week one of our notes was that Butler was a borderline Top 25 team and that may have ranked them too low. I was wrong in my rankings in where I put Butler. In the preseason, I believed Butler had the best potential of any team outside the Top 25 to make a run in the NCAA tournament. The Bulldogs' win over Indiana will be brought up much more when the tournament  committee evaluates team's in March.

Lonzo Ball Best Player in the Country? Right now the answer is Yes! Ball is a huge reason why the Bruins are undefeated and a top 2 team in the country. Ball is beating a 14.3 points, 8.7 assists and 5.9 rebounds per game. The 6'6' freshman could end up bringing home a lot of hardware in a few months.
