On Thursday Alex Feuz, 104.5 The Team's Digital Correspondent caught up with New York Yankees 4th round draft pick Beck Way.

When asked if the news of being drafted has been setting in, the said it started happening just a few days ago when the Yankees sent him over the gear. He said once he was able to put on the Yankees hat, it started to feel as real as ever.

Beck grew up watching baseball every day, particularly the Phillies and the Pirates since he grew up in the Mechanicsburg, Pa. area. He gravitated towards the style that Roy Holladay brought to the mound every start, along with other current pitchers in the game.

It was known since the age of 5 that Beck Way wanted to play professional baseball. That dream came true just over a week ago.

"It was such an unbelievable feeling."

Be sure to listen to the full interview above where we get a look at how Beck views analytics in the game, as well as a DH in both leagues, biggest pet peeve, and more.
