Javion Ogunyemi, the hometown stud looks like he's coming home. After announcing at the end of last season that he was set to transfer out of Siena, and eventually going to Boston University, the junior is set to be playing for Jimmy Patsos's saints.

Many contribute the return of Ogunyemi, to the fatal shooting of his cousin back in May. Patsos told the Times Union's  Mark Singelais “He’s coming back home,” Patsos said. “His cousin was killed and that’s been very public. His grandmother is here and needs his help and support.”

The next step is to get him able to play this season, by filing an NCAA waiver that would allow him to play immediately this season rather than sitting out a year under transfer rules. The addition of Ogunyemi would be a huge boost to Siena's roster. His size and athleticism with help the team contend for MAAC Championship this year.
