Yankee fans showed bad judgment by giving Jorge Posada a standing ovation one day after he pulled a punk move.

It's completely ridiculous that Jorge Posada was greeted with a standing ovation one day after he refused to hit 9th in the batting order because he felt disrespected.  ESPN's Buster Olney reported that Posada also told Yankees' GM Brian Cashman that he no longer wanted to play for the Yankees because of this move.

Jorge Posada's actions were more deserving of loud boos instead of cheers.  Being selfish is one of the biggest reasons that teams struggle.  If you put yourself ahead of the team, often times it's a recipe for disaster.
