After one of the most difficult years that the sport of horse racing has dealt with in quite some time, there are always good memories to look back on. Whether you cashed many tickets or not, most of us can think of a memory from this past year or even beyond.

NYRA's Anthony Stabile joined Brian Mariano on Closing Time to discuss the past year in horse racing. Stabile gives his thoughts on the controversial decision to take Maximum Security down after crossing the wire first in the Kentucky Derby. Also, Stabile breaks down his selections for this years Eclipse Awards and gives us his greatest memory of the past decade in the sport of thoroughbred racing.

You can check out the interview below and you can catch Closing Time every Saturday morning at 9am on 104.5 the team and the 104.5 the team app!
