Congratulations to the Arizona Cardinals, the last team to not hire a new head coach.

With the Jacksonville Jaguars today announced they have hired Gus Bradley away from the Seattle Seahawks. Bradley looked like he had the Philadelphia Eagles job until the Eagles reached out one last time to Chip Kelly from Oregon who accepted the job.

That now leaves the Cardinals as the last team not to hire a coach. the Cards fired Ken Whisenhunt on "Black Monday." Whisenhunt had been the Cards head coach for six years and led them to the Super Bowl.

Right now, among the fan base it seems they want to hire defensive coordinator Ray Horton. However, having spent time in Arizona and covering the Cards, you can expect them to try and find the candidate who will work on the "cheap." The Cardinals are legendary for their frugal ways. I think it is a bit overblown but there is something to it.

The Bradley hiring by the Jags is the first "defensive minded" coaching hire. All of the other six coaches hired so far are "offensive minded."
