Richards Wins A-East Player of the Week…Again

UAlbany women's basketball junior forward Shereesha Richards earned America East Player of the Week for the fifth time this season, and 14th time in her career, helping UA to a 2-0 week that has the Danes at 10-1 in league play.

Richards averaged 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds on the week as the Danes dismantled New Hampshire and UMass-Lowell. She had 31 points against UMass-Lowell, the sixth 30-point game of her career.

Richards has 19 America East honors on her resume, as she earned five Rookie of the Week honors in her freshman season.
