Grab your bet slips and your floppy hats, because Saratoga Race Season is HERE!

It's that time again at Saratoga, but unlike last year, fans will be permitted back at the track. If you're fully vaccinated, then you can gain free entry to the grandstand for the meet. This year's meet will feature a number of exciting races and horses, with Essential Quality leading the pack as a betting favorite.

Week 1

    • Thursday, July 15 - GIII Quick Call and GIII Schuylerville
    • Friday, July 16 - GIII Forbidden Apple

Aside from the races, as is customary in Saratoga, there will be local bands playing throughout the day, a riveting rendition of the National Anthem by Tenor Angelo Mazzone, Jr., and a toast done by the whole track. Cheers to that!

Last, but certainly not least, 104.5 The Team will be your home for the Saratoga Race Course meet all summer long. Big Board Sports and The Drive with Charlie and Dan will be live from the track during their time slots every Friday, and our own Kevin Rich will bring you the action every Saturday and Sunday through September. Our coverage will even continue during Yankees baseball, so, you can tune into 104.5 WTMM-FM on your dial and listen to the Yankees, and catch our Saratoga coverage on the free 104.5 The Team app.

Happy Saratoga season, everyone! We'll see you at the track on Friday.
