Scottie Pippen mentioned on ESPN Radio that LeBron James might be a greater player than Michael Jordan.  Lay off the hard alcohol, Pip.

Scottie Pippen made headlines today when he made a ridiculous comment on Mike & Mike in the Morning on ESPN Radio.  Scottie Pippen said that Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer in the history of the game, but LeBron James might be the greatest player in the history of the game.

Say what, Pip?  LeBron James?  The guy without one single championship, right?  The king without a crown?  That guy?  Like the ESPN NFL Gameday crew would say, C'Mon Maaaaan!

Michael Jordan led the league in scoring for 10 seasons.  Jordan also was an NBA All-Defensive First Team selection nine times in his career.  He was the Defensive Player of the Year in 1987-88 as well.  Michael Jordan?  The guy with six rings?  The guy with six NBA Finals MVPs?  Yeah, he's without question greater than Jordan.

Now, LeBron has the skill set to one day be mentioned in the same breath as Michael Jordan, but not yet.  LeBron has a lot of championships to win and a lot more to accomplish for that to happen.  Slow it down, Pip.
