Earlier this week, assistant coach for the Siena Saints Gill Connors joined Levack and Goz. The Siena Saints men's lacrosse team will officially start their season this Saturday when they face off against the Syracuse Orange. The Saints and Orange will face off at 4pm Saturday afternoon inside the Carrier Dome. Coach Svec's team is hoping to have a better start than the 2016 campaign as the Saints were not able to win a second regular season match up until April.  Last year's Saints team finished the season with a 3-10 overall record and a 2-4 record in conference play. Coach Connors explained how important it can be to challenge his team early in the season. Plus we find out the type of impact some of the newest transfers to the program can have in year one. Coach Connors could not escape the interview with out a few questions from Goz about his alma mater Hobart College. Will the Saints be ready for the Statesmen the following Saturday in their match up in Western New York? Plus what is it like working with a Hobart alum in Coach Svec? Find out those answers and more below.
